Alexandra Sevier

Alexandra recently brought her East-Coast experience and positive attitude to Covalent Logic. After graduating from Hofstra University on Long Island, she worked for six years as a multi-project manager for various agencies in Manhattan. Her work for Mercedes Benz Fashion Week,, Three Olives Vodka and various retail stores left her with an impressive legacy of happy clients and phenomenal productions.

Alexandra works with an “it-can-be-done-we-just-have-to-figure-out-how” mentality and performs best under pressure. Her challenge-oriented outlook makes her the perfect account manager for ambitious clients. She is most proud of her previous work on the “Valentine’s Day with Justin Bieber” event.

Maggie Stokes

A champion of crunched numbers and best practices, Maggie Stokes is the scarlet-haired Media Buyer you want when it comes to creative strategies for placing media and advertising. Armed with a Master’s in Business Administration and experience working with a diverse portfolio, she’s helped clients reach their target audiences through a wide array of mixed media and effectively negotiated pricing to keep budgets in scope.

Her knowledge and love of culture, marketing and current consumer trends have also made her a key component of any social media plan. Working alongside other creatives, she has used that passion to develop Acadiana’s Social Media Day, an event aimed at growing the region’s social media expertise. Additionally, she is currently the Acadiana chapter’s Development Chair for the American Advertising Federation.

Ian Dallimore

Ian is a graduate of Louisiana State University with a bachelor’s degree in Business Marketing & Communications minor.  After graduating from LSU, Ian spent several years with the LSU Sports Marketing Program, and served as Director of Marketing for the Triple-A affiliate New Orleans Zephyrs baseball team.

In 2004, Ian began his ten year career with Lamar in the Marketing Department focusing on Events & Sports Marketing. A year later, he transitioned to National Sales where he worked directly with OOH buyers & strategic teams for National agencies. Ian became Lamar’s first Digital OOH Strategist in 2007 and since then he has developed what Lamar Digital is today as well as heavily influencing the OOH industry. As the Director of Digital Innovation + Sales Strategy, he interacts with national clients brands and agencies to devise strategic plans utilizing Digital OOH across all mediums including mobile, social and up and coming industry innovations. Ian also works hand-in-hand with Lamar’s Digital Network Operations to drive future new innovations through the use of technologies like real time feeds, social platforms, real time data, and interactive technologies.  Ian also leads Lamar in the programmatic/automation platform as well as heavy focus on Mobile Data to better build OOH Networks and creative attributions for brand with this data. Among these previously developed channels, Ian is also on the forefront as the Chairman of the Innovations Committee for the OAAA (Outdoor Advertising Association of America).  Here he and the board exploring upcoming industry advances like programmatic buying, furthering the mobile conversation and creating media plans based on consumer brand interaction across these same social platforms and big data.  Ian also is on the DSE (Digital Signage Expo) Advisory Board and DPAA (Digital Placebase Advertising Association) where he and the board focus on driving the industry to stay relevant in the advertising world.

Outside of the OOH industry, Ian runs an interactive photobooth company, Smilebooth, with the same focus on innovation and constant technological advancements. He is also on the board and co-owner of TwoSon clothing company with a focus on high textile and American made denim. He and his wife, Katie, reside in Baton Rouge, Louisiana with their son Wes and triplets Amelie, Ellie and Jake.

Mary Ellen Slayter

Mary Ellen Slayter is CEO of Rep Cap, which she launched after working as a journalist at The Washington Post and SmartBrief. She has a master’s degree in journalism from the University of Maryland and a B.S. in agronomy from Louisiana State University. Mary Ellen serves on the boards of the LSMSA Foundation, Iris, and the Baton Rouge Gallery. She lives in Baton Rouge with her husband, two daughters and one lazy dog.

Dr. Lance Porter

With more than 19 years of marketing experience, Porter has focused on digital media since 1995, when he built his first commercial Web site. Before coming to LSU, Porter spent four years as executive director of Internet marketing for Disney. There he oversaw the creative and media strategies for more than 80 films and won a Clio Award for excellence in advertising. He currently teaches advertising creative strategy and campaigns. His research focuses on digital media effects. He holds a joint appointment with the Center for Computation and Technology (CCT). He won the 2009 LSU Alumni Faculty Excellence Award and was the 2010 American Advertising Federation Donald G. Hileman Memorial Educator of the Year in the seventh district.

As a key member of the team, Jordan bridges the gap between two worlds, with one foot planted in the land of ideas and the other in the realm of planning and research. His mission for Innovative and the Fridge (Innovative’s food and beverage division) is to
conduct and digest research, spur creative thought and collaborate with the team to ensure creative solutions define and elevate the brand, as well as produce results. A transplant to Louisiana, Jordan hails from South Carolina. As an alumnus of the
University of South Carolina, his Saturdays are usually occupied by yet another devastating loss by the Gamecocks.

Josh Howard

Josh Howard is a self-employed communications consultant and production manager for NewAperio, a local mobile app and software development company.

Some of his accolades include: being a graduate of the Leadership Baton Rouge, a current member of Leadership Louisiana, voted as the city’s most eligible bachelor, and has been nominated for multiple awards regarding social media. Personally, his biggest accomplishment is losing over 260lbs. He is also a local youth minister. Josh is currently in the process of writing a book about his weight loss journey and early years of ministry.

Josh graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in mass communication, with a concentration in public relations and minor in Spanish from Louisiana State University and is currently pursuing his master’s in strategic communication. In his spare time, he loves to cook, read, work out and travel.
